NEW HALE BUILDINGS - 11, 12, AND 13

About This Project

Additional on-campus housing for single students will be located behind the current single-student hales. These new hales will serve as single student dormitories. These hales are apartment-style buildings similar to Hales 4, 5, 6, 7, and 10. They will be four stories high and will accommodate six students per room. Each floor will have approximately fourteen units. The new project will add housing for 900 to 1,000 single students. These hales will also be equipped with surf/bike racks.

Construction Gallery

Significant milestones have been reached at Hale 13, where all irrigation and landscaping work is now officially complete. The project has moved through its final cleaning phases, including a thorough interior deep clean and a full exterior pressure wash. With these finishing touches finalized, the building has been formally turned over to BYU–Hawaii. Meanwhile, site work continues across the broader area, with a primary focus on the retention fields where grass is currently being established and continues to grow.
